I am giving you all behind the scenes on how we did this ‘indoor shoot’ it was a lot of fun with a squirmy, two year old. (insert sarcasm) As you can see we did not get one with him looking. To get the most of your iphone/android whatever you are using- I am about to show you how to be your own photographer! I love my photographer and obviously this is a second resort to her but I also know she cannot be around me 24/7 (Maybe one day Lauren if you are reading this lololol.)
I used my iphone plus to shoot these photos. All you need is the self timer set it to 3 sec or 10 sec. Make sure your camera is set to “live” photos. You will see your phone flashing when it is taking the shots. If you have an iphone. I cannot speak for android users.
A ring light is a bit of an investment but I highly recommend it if you plan on taking more shots even if it is with an iphone. This is the one I have from Amazon – Click here!
This is a standing tri-pod we got for our Europe Vacay and I love it- Tri-Pod CLICK HERE
You set your phone in it and pair it with your phones Bluetooth and you attache the remote from the tri-pod and get to clicking. You can use that or your self timer. Sometimes I think the self timer takes better photos. This tri-pod also doubles as a selfie stick – But I have never used it as such. It is rather big and bulky and makes more sense to use it as a tri-pod verses a selfie stick in my opinion. Also, turn on all the lights in the vicinity. The more light the better. Double points for natural sunlight. I always turn up the light and turn down the contrast when iphone editing pictures, then I add it to my photoshop Lightroom app and put my presets on it. That is a whole different post…
…And there you have it! Please message me if you need help with this or any general questions! I am happy to help 🙂
